A six week evening course, Mondays 7-9pm from the 21st October.

I am thrilled to be offering my Classical Drawing course in the atmospheric vaults of Berdoulat in Bath. Come and learn with me historic drawing techniques in the beautiful surroundings of this Georgian building in a drawing programme based upon my training in Florence.

Following in the footsteps of many of the great artists since the late 19th century, students will copy from a set of Charles Bargue lithographs. These lithographs were developed to give a student of art a thorough understanding of technique, thereby equipping them with the foundation of excellence in their practice.

Working at their own pace, the course is great Introduction for beginners and more experienced artists alike to learn how to draw. Step by step, the course progressively teaches each student how to measure accurately, articulate shapes and create volume - introducing a technique that will enable artists to create representational drawings.

The course will run for 6 evenings from the 21st October 2024, 7-9pm.
